Torino are reportedly on the verge of completing a move for Etrit Berisha, who has arrived at the Granata sports centre to carry out his medical.

Sky Sport Italia journalist Gianluca Di Marzio reports the SPAL goalkeeper is set for a move to Toro, to replace Salvatore Sirigu.

The Albanian goalkeeper has one year left on his deal with the Biancazzurri, but the Granata have reportedly reached an agreement over a return to Serie A.

Berisha has Serie A experience from his stints with Lazio and Atalanta too, playing 139 times in the Italian top flight.

Di Marzio reports he has arrived in Turin to carry out his medical with Urbano Cairo’s team and will sign the contract as soon as he gets the go ahead from the Granata’s medical staff.

The 32-year-old, capped 65 times by Albania, moved to SPAL from Atalanta in 2019, and followed the club down to Serie B for 2020-21, when the Biancazzurri finished ninth in the table.
