Giuseppe Bergomi warns of the threat of Napoli ahead of tomorrow’s derby between Inter and Milan.

The two Milanese sides will be playing one of the most important Derby della Madonnina clashes in recent memory, with the teams neck and neck at the top of the Serie A table. Just behind the pair is Luciano Spalletti’s Napoli, who could still have a part to play in this season’s title race.

Speaking to Il Messaggero, Bergomi highlighted that he doesn’t expect tomorrow’s derby to be decisive in the race for the Scudetto this season.

“I don’t think the match will be decisive, the season is still long. Of course, if Inter were to win they would break away from the Rossoneri, but watch out for Napoli.

“If Calhanoglu repeats the match he played in the first match he will definitely be decisive.”

Bergomi then noted which Milan player will be the most dangerous in tomorrow’s derby.

“Without a doubt, at a time like this, the main danger is Rafael Leao, then we have to see where Kessie will play, as a trequartista at Empoli he did very well.”

Inter currently sit top of the Serie A table after 22 games, four points ahead of second place Milan with a game in hand. The first Derby della Madonnina this season ended 1-1 back in November, with goals coming from Hakan Calhanoglu and Stefan de Vrij.
