Former Inter coach Conte moved to Spurs in November and signed Kulusevski from Juventus in January, with the two moves having a transformative impact on the north London side’s season.
Kulusevski soon became a fan favourite as his goals and assists helped Tottenham sneak into the top four with just two matches remaining in the season.
Bergomi told Sky Sport of the Premier League duo: “Conte put Kulusevski in the correct role, he did an excellent job with him.”
The former Italy international also backed calls for Inter to sign Dybala, who has is a free agent after leaving Juventus.
Asked how he thought Dybala would fit in at Juve, Bergomi added: “I think well. I don’t want to go too deep into the tactics, though, because Inter have always had a No. 10 who excites the fans.
“If he does to Inter, I think he’d fit in well. Once you step foot into the stadium, even if you’re not in an Inter shirt, you get a unique feeling.”
Bergomi made 767 club appearances in a career spent entirely with Inter. He was also part of Italy’s 1982 World Cup-winning squad and now works as a pundit for Sky Sport.
