Ex-Inter defender Beppe Bergomi has become the latest Inter legend to speak about the situation with Mauro Icardi.
After Sandro Mazzola gave his comments to the press about the captain’s disagreement with the Ultras, Bergomi also put forward his view to Gazzetta dello Sport.
"You always have to think about the colours and the shirt. I was asked to write a book at the age of 20 but I did not feel ready.

"You always have to think about the colours and the shirt. I was asked to write a book at the age of 20 but I did not feel ready.
"Surely at 23 years old he only wrote nonsense, although they tell me that he is a serious professional and is love with these colours.
"Only fools do not change their minds, and I think it is necessary that the parties speak, and to try to speak with and understand each other for the good of Inter.
"This must be the only target. I think the fans represent the most valuable asset of a company.
"[Piero] Ausilio and [Javier] Zanetti have expressed the club’s thinking and I believe that they will speak with Icardi.
"As a club you must immediately think about the fans. With the player, there will be time to talk and to clear the matter up. "
