Domenico Berardi is believed to have agreed to a return to Juventus, but talks on who Sassuolo take ownership of remain ongoing.

The Bianconeri have been increasingly reported as keen to take back full ownership of Berardi this summer, ahead of proposed involvement during preseason with Antonio Conte’s squad.

The Gazzetta dello Sport today update progress on the deal and say that the 19-year-old, who scored 16 League goals last term, has given his approval to the move back to Turin.

However, Sassuolo are yet to agree terms on the transfer and are seen to be pushing to take full ownership of Simone Zaza, another player currently co-owned with Juve.

Beppa Marotta is believed unwilling to discuss this proposition and, in light of the Emilia-Romagna’s apparent lack of interest in taking full registration of a third co-owned player in Luca Marrone, the director general is seen as prepared to offer one of Simone Padoin or Federico Peluso.
