There are reports Domenico Berardi is ready to leave Sassuolo and has already said yes to Napoli, although Milan are also interested.

The 27-year-old right-sided winger is a product of the Sassuolo youth academy and spent his entire career there, although for a while he was co-owned by Juventus.

He had previously turned down big moves, but last summer confessed he was ready for his big chance after winning UEFA EURO 2020 with Italy.

Fiorentina had been pursuing him, but were not prepared to meet the €40m asking price.

According to La Repubblica newspaper, Berardi is available again this summer for circa €35m and has been very impressive again this season with 12 goals and 14 assists in 26 Serie A appearances.

Napoli and Milan are believed to be interested, but Radio Kiss Kiss Napoli – the official radio station of Napoli Calcio – claim Berardi has already said yes to a transfer to the Stadio Diego Armando Maradona.

  1. He’s not going to win anything with Napoli.
I really like Napoli but there’s some elements of badluck that’s always affecting them at the crucial moments.
