Sassuolo captain Domenico Berardi scored a magnificent curler into the top corner, but it is hardly the first time he has stunned San Siro, both when playing against Inter and Milan.

The 29-year-old had already assisted Nedim Bajrami before smashing the decider in from outside the box for a 2-1 comeback victory over the Nerazzurri this evening.

That was Berardi’s eighth Serie A goal against Inter in 16 matches, more than any other current player in the league.

However, his favourite victims are actually their neighbours Milan, where he has scored 11 goals against them in 18 Serie A meetings.

That includes four during a 4-3 home win in January 2014 and a hat-trick in a 3-2 result in 2015.

He also provided seven assists against Milan and four with Inter.

Of his total 19 goals scored against Milan and Inter in Serie A, seven were at the Stadio Giuseppe Meazza.
