Karim Benzema warns Real Madrid “need to be wary” of Roma but “if we’re on our game, we’ll win”.
The Giallorossi welcome the Spanish giants to Stadio Olimpico for the first leg of their Champions League Last 16 tie on Wednesday, and the French international isn’t expecting an easy game.
“They'll be going out to get the win, because for them its an important game and they're at home,” Benzema told Real Madrid’s official website.

“We'll also be going there to win because we know that the first leg is very important if we want to get through the tie, although there is always the home leg to follow.
“We're going to work hard to win the game.
“We've got some good players, and a great team, and we're capable of achieving anything. We need to focus on ourselves.
“If we're on our game, we'll win.
“We need to be wary of the pace of their forwards, who can cause you problems, but we're Real Madrid, and for me, we're the best team in the world, and we've got the best defenders in the world.”
Both teams have changed Coach since the draw was made, with Zinedine Zidane replacing Rafa Benitez at Bernabeu and Luciano Spalletti coming in for Rudi Garcia on the Lupi bench.
“Zidane? He was a top player and now he's a good coach, with a lot of experience.
