Juventus midfielder Rodrigo Bentancur has been banned for three games following his red card in the Italian Super Cup.

Bentancur was sent off in the final minute of Juve’s 3-1 defeat to Lazio yesterday.

This evening, the FIGC’s disciplinary committee decided to issue him with a three-match suspension.

One game is related to his two yellow cards, while the other two are as a result of him berating the fourth official.

That means he will miss the Bianconeri’s fixtures against Cagliari, Roma and Parma to open 2020.
