Ismael Bennacer has already returned to Milanello after Algeria’s elimination from the Africa Cup of Nations and could be available to face Juventus on Sunday.

The 24-year-old has already returned to training after his national team faced elimination from the continental competition yesterday.

Algeria lost 3-1 against Franck Kessié’s Ivory Coast yesterday and according to Calciomercato.com, Bennacer hasn’t taken a day off after the match, returning to Milanello today.

According to the report, Bennacer didn’t train with the rest of the team but could do it tomorrow, being available for Sunday’s Serie A clash against Juventus at San Siro.

Sandro Tonali will return to action after serving a one-match ban against Spezia on Monday, so Tiemoue Bakayoko may start on the bench.

The Chelsea loanee has offered unconvincing performances in the first part of the campaign and Pioli hopes Bennacer will be fit to start against the Bianconeri. The former Empoli midfielder is doing everything to be ready for the big match.
