Ismael Bennacer is ready to put pen to paper on a new contract with Milan after agreeing to the details of the deal, reports underline.
The 25-year-old Algerian midfielder is a core part of Stefano Pioli’s squad in the Lombardy capital, playing an important role in the build-up and not shying away from his defensive duties. Bennacer’s current contract expires with Milan in 2024 and the club have no intention of losing the player in the near future, prompting them to work on a new deal.
As reported by TMW, Bennacer is ready to sign a new contract with Milan that’ll see him earn €4.2m net per season plus €300,000 in add-ons, lasting until June 2027. The deal also includes a €50m release clause, valid from the summer of 2024 onwards.
Lawyers are now working to finalise the remaining details and the 25-year-old is set to put pen to paper in the coming hours.
