Milan midfielder Ismael Bennacer reveals he has been COVID-19 positive for almost a week and has been training while self-isolating.
The Algeria international pulled out of his club side’s friendly against OGC Nice this evening, as it was announced he had tested positive for the Coronavirus.
Although the confirmation only came today, it seems the issue has been going for a while.
“I tested positive for COVID at the start of the week,” wrote Bennacer on Instagram.
“I am in self-isolation and I’m training at home. I hope to be back on the field soon. Thank you for your messages.”
