Milan midfielder Ismael Bennacer has reportedly chosen Mino Raiola’s cousin Enzo as his new agent while talks to extend his contract with the Rossoneri are ongoing.

Bennacer’s current deal at the Stadio Meazza runs out in June 2024 and according to multiple reports in Italy, the two parties are close to reaching an agreement, extending the midfielder’s contract until 2027.

According to Calciomercato.com, Bennacer has dropped his previous agent Moussa Sissoko who was pushing to join a different club in the summer, hiring Mino Raiol’s cousin Enzo as his new representative.

Bennacer had held talks with the Rossoneri without Sissoko over the last few weeks, and Raiola is now in charge of negotiations with Paolo Maldini and Ricky Massara.

Maldini confirmed last week that negotiations with the 24-year-old could continue during the World Cup break, given that Algeria have not qualified for the World Cup.

Bennacer currently earns circa €1.5m at San Siro and is expected to triple his salary with his new Milan deal. Calciomercato.com’s Daniele Longo also hints that Raiola and Rafaela Pimenta, who took over the agency after Mino Raiola died in April, will split.
