However, Calciomercato.com point out there are some details that have gone unnoticed about the agreement.
The first is that the €50m release clause can only be activated from June 2021 and not this summer.
Another issue is that the money must all be paid upfront in one instalment, so cannot be stretched out over a period of time.
The Rossoneri spent €16m to sign Bennacer from Empoli at the end of last season.
