Former Napoli boss Rafa Benitez is being linked with a shock return to Chelsea, which would in turn release Maurizio Sarri to Juventus.

Tuttosport talks of an ‘imminent’ meeting between Benitez and Chelsea, who will not let Sarri join Juve until they have secured a replacement.

The Spaniard was an unpopular appointment at Stamford Bridge in 2012, but he ultimately delivered a Europa League before moving to Napoli a year later.

He has since re-established Newcastle United as a Premier League club, despite problems with owner Mike Ashley.
