Rafa Benitez was satisfied with Napoli’s 3-1 victory over Udinese, but still has concerns in defence.
“I have to be satisfied as we won and could’ve scored more goals, but we also made a mistake to let Udinese back in after 20 minutes when we were in total control,” the Coach told Sky Sport Italia.
“I think we stepped up the intensity and concentration after the break, so controlled the entire second half.”

Manolo Gabbiadini was a surprise starter instead of Jose Callejon, fuelling reports of trouble between the Spanish forward and Benitez.
“Callejon has played more than anyone else this season. Gabbiadini has quality and I thought with the way Udinese work, he could be most suited and in fact he scored. Are there problems with Callejon? No.”
Yet again, Napoli showed problems at the back and did not keep a clean sheet.
“Liverpool, Valencia and all my other teams were very strong defensively, but also attacked. We’ve decided we have to score one more than our opponents and that seems to be working…
“These are good players, but our team is very attack-minded and can sometimes be unbalanced going forward. I’ve seen teams who defend with five at the back – if I did that, I could just sit on the bench with a cigarette and they’d take care of it!”
Still four points behind second-placed Roma, Benitez was asked whether Napoli could still target the Scudetto.
“It is very simple: one game at a time. It is working for us, Roma and Juve are in front, Lazio, Fiorentina and the others are close behind. We have to do what we always do, take it week by week.”
