“Inter and Napoli were two periods that enrichened me, but tonight I support the Azzurri,” Benitez told Sky Sport Italia.
The Spanish coach believes Antonio Conte’s second-placed Inter have ‘more pressure’ than Gennaro Gattuso’s third-placed Napoli ahead of the big clash.
“There’s certainly more pressure on the Nerazzurri. They would like to win this season, as it seems Juventus have slowed down.
“When I was at Napoli, we managed to win the Coppa Italia and the Supercoppa Italiana against the Bianconeri, who were intractable at that time.
“At Inter, however, I stayed for a short amount of time. They were coming from the Treble season and I wasn’t allowed to extend that adventure despite having the Supercoppa Italiana and the Club World Cup.”
