Benfica or Malaga for Gabigol?

Inter striker Gabriel Barbosa reportedly has interest from Benfica and Malaga, while Stevan Jovetic could return to Sevilla.

Both forwards are surplus to requirements for the Nerazzurri, at least this season, and neither featured in the opening day win over Fiorentina.

According to Sky Italia, Gabriel Barbosa, known as Gabigol, is unlikely to join Sporting as the Portuguese club won’t contribute to the cost of his wages in a loan deal.

The Beneamata still hope to get the best out of the Brazilian, so he’d only leave on loan, with Benfica and Malaga thought to be the most likely destinations as things stand.

Jovetic spent the second half of last season on loan with Sevilla, and wanted to return this summer but they wouldn’t meet the €13m buyout clause.

However, Sky believes they have re-opened talks with Inter, meaning the Montenegrin could get his wish to return to Spain.
