After President Oreste Vigorito’s angry statements to Sky Sport Italia, the situation at the stadium deteriorated further.
Director Foggia was filmed shouting at Mazzoleni through his car window as the official tried to drive away from the arena.
“If you had a clean conscience, you would watch it again, understand? This so-called slight contact, you have to watch that again if you have a conscience,” Foggia said.
“We are fighting for our lives here. You have a guilty conscience! You have a guilty conscience, both as a referee and a VAR. You have always had a guilty conscience!”
