Benevento have announced Fabio Caserta is their new coach, replacing Pippo Inzaghi following relegation into Serie B.
The tactician put pen to paper on a two-year contract, with option for a third season.
The club will begin pre-season training for 2021-22 on July 8.
Caserta turns 43 in September and started his coaching career with Juve Stabia in 2017.
He spent last season on the Perugia bench, picking up a more than creditable 25 wins, 10 draws and seven defeats in Serie C.
They reached the Serie C promotion play-offs, only to lose with Ternana.
As for Inzaghi, he has returned to Serie B too with a new job at Brescia.
