Former Juventus player Nicklas Bendtner has reportedly been charged with assault after a taxi driver received a broken jaw.
According to local Danish reports, the incident occurred at 2.41am on Sunday morning in Copenhagen.
The taxi company confirmed to bt.dk “there has been a serious assault on one of our drivers and he is currently undergoing an operation for a broken jaw.
“It has been reported to police and we can confirm the assailant is Nicklas Bendtner.”

Now 30 and playing for Rosenborg in Norway, Bendtner had a brief spell at Juventus in 2012-13 while on loan from Arsenal.
