Medhi Benatia is a free agent after leaving Al-Duhail and confirms he’d like a return to Italy. ‘There was contact with Juventus and Milan in the past.’
The 34-year-old Morocco international can choose his next club, having been released by Al-Duhail.
“I was very happy for the last two-and-a-half years, as I won trophies and got to know a different style of football,” Benatia told TuttoJuve.com.
“I do miss Italy and Italian football. My family and I love this country. There was contact with Juventus and Milan in the past. We’ll see if there are some teams now capable of giving me the right motivation, but I certainly don’t lack passion and hunger. My legs are still working well, too.
“I honestly don’t know where my future will be, as for now I’m just enjoying my vacation.”
