Fiorentina midfielder Marco Benassi could follow Rolando Mandragora out of the Italy squad after reportedly risking a ban for blasphemy.
According to Il Messaggero Veneto, Benassi was caught using a blasphemous expression after Fiorentina’s 1-0 victory over Udinese on Sunday, courtesy of his winning goal.
The newspaper explains the 23-year-old is now at risk of a one-match ban as TV footage may be used to verify the incident.

Furthermore, he could be sent home by Italy if CT Roberto Mancini decides to reapply Cesare Prandelli’s code of ethics to the Azzurri.
