“We had no doubts,” Daniel Striani insisted on Radio Blu.

“We had no doubts,” Daniel Striani insisted on Radio Blu.
“We had talks, there are hundreds of those on the last day of the transfer window, it was a negotiation like, like many others.
“It didn’t come up on the last day, there had been interest, it’s not something that was invented on the last day.
“It’s open on both sides, it’s a loan with the right of redemption, we’ll evaluate it at the most appropriate time.”
Striani then gave an update on his client’s condition, as Benalouane only played 66 minutes of Premier League football this season.
“He played against Tottenham in the cup replay. He has no physical problems. The game with Bologna has perhaps come too soon, but he’ll be with the team for the next game if not tomorrow.
“Leicester? He worked well, but more importantly Leicester were functioning well. ‘Never change a winning team’, as they say in England.
“It’s hard to make changes when you’re doing so well and the team is top of the League.
“His position? He’s sometimes played as a left-back, his strength is his versatitlity. He’s a very complete player from a tactical point of view.
“He’s played as a right centre-back, left-centre-back, he’s played in a three-man defence and a four-man defence, as well as at full-back. That’s a good thing for a Coach.
“Paulo Sousa? They met for the first time yesterday. They’d never seen each other before.”
