Crotone will be without Ahmad Benali for the rest of the season, after the midfielder broke a bone in his foot.
The Squali have already lost Ante Budimir for the rest of the campaign, and they’ve been dealt another blow in their battle against relegation.
“Football Club Crotone announces that the player Ahmad Benali, after taking a knock in yesterday’s match with Torino, has been subjected to medical tests which showed a fracture of the fifth metatarsal bone in his right foot,” a statement on the club’s website confirmed.

“The limb has already been immobilised and the most appropriate therapeutic strategies are being evaluated.
“Forza Ahmad, we’re waiting for you on the pitch!”
An injury of this kind would usually require around two months out, so it looks likely that Benali's season is over.
