Torino striker Andrea Belotti has reportedly snubbed a move to Newcastle in January as he wants to end the season with the Granata.

Belotti’s deal at the Stadio Grande Torino expires at the end of the season and he doesn’t seem willing to extend it.

In many recent interviews, Torino President Urbano Cairo has suggested that this is probably Belotti’s last season at the club, with the striker destined to leave the Granata as a free agent in June.

According to Sky Sport Italia, Belotti has snubbed a move to Newcastle in the January transfer window as the Torino captain is determined to stay at the club until the end of the season.

Al-Hilal had a bid accepted by the Granata, but Belotti is not convinced about moving to the Middle East.

The 28-year-old joined Torino in a €7.5m deal from Palermo in 2015. He has scored 107 goals in 238 games with the Granata.

  1. 100% do not want him. Maybe a few years ago but not now. We don’t need another forward past their prime.

  2. I don’t think 28-year-old is past the prime, he still has 2-4 years to grow for a striker age. Yes his career and growth stalled because, sorry to say, Torino cannot give him the challenge he needs. A move to a bigger club will give him a new challenge and room to grow.
