This certainly won’t be a new experience at the Stadio Giuseppe Meazza for Belotti, as the Italy Under-21 international knows it well.

“My brother is a massive Milan fan, so he used to take me to see their games and I started supporting them very young,” he told Sky Sport Italia.

“Obviously, after playing football at a professional level, that passion dropped off a bit, because obviously you have to focus on the team you’re playing for.

“If I face Milan and need to do something important to score, I’m ready to do it.”

Torino Coach Sinisa Mihajlovic is also fired up for this clash with his former club, who sacked him in April.

“We must take it one game at a time and get as many points as possible. We need to play our style of football and then if European qualification arrives, it’ll be something we earned,” continued Belotti.

“I do feel that I have improved and have more faith in myself, which I didn’t at the start. By working and following all the Coach’s instructions, I feel more confident in making certain moves.”
