Torino confirm Andrea Belotti’s thigh injury is more serious than previously thought, so he is a major doubt to face Fiorentina.
The striker was already ruled out of Saturday’s 1-0 win away to Genoa, but had been expected to return this week.
A statement from the club announced that tests showed muscular damage that “was not visible in previous examinations due to the vast haematoma.”
The bruising had been too extensive to see the lesion in the muscle.
