Andrea Belotti has dropped his biggest hint yet that he will stay at Torino this summer. “I’m happy, we’ll work to make up for no European football.”
Belotti had been linked with a fresh start at Milan after a campaign that saw him take until Torino’s 2-1 win against SPAL on the penultimate matchday to register his 10th Serie A goal – 18 less than his tally for 2016-17.
Nonetheless, the striker told Sport Italia: “I’m happy at Torino and I have a contract with the club.

“We had to qualify for Europe this season and could’ve done so, but we’ll work to make up for it.
“My future? I repeat, I’m here, but if [President Urbano] Cairo decides otherwise… It depends on him and what he wants to do.”
Cairo later replied to RMC Sport: “If he wants to stay, we’ll happily keep him.”
