Torino striker Andrea Belotti could be heading either to Inter or Atalanta, depending on what happens with Romelu Lukaku’s replacement.

If Lukaku does leave San Siro for Chelsea in a deal worth circa €130m, then the Nerazzurri have set their sights first and foremost on Atalanta star Duvan Zapata.

It has been suggested that La Dea could then replace the Colombia international with Belotti or Chelsea’s Tammy Abraham.

However, now Tuttosport maintain Inter could cut out the middleman and simply go straight for Belotti.

Il Gallo is in the final year of his Torino contract and does not seem to have any intention of signing an extension.

He is therefore on the transfer market and could be available for €30m or under this summer.

The 27-year-old Italy international was in the squad that won UEFA EURO 2020 and last season found the net 13 times with seven assists in 35 Serie A appearances for Toro.

He’s a very different player to Lukaku, but is accustomed to a 3-5-2 formation, which will also be used by new coach Simone Inzaghi.
