At Coverciano, the 26-year-old revealed he was scared of ‘infecting and becoming infected’.

At Coverciano, the 26-year-old revealed he was scared of ‘infecting and becoming infected’.

“I’m a little bit worried, there’s the risk of infecting and becoming infected,” Belotti told Rai Sport. 2I think you have to follow all the necessary precautions.

“We are following everything to the letter, even in the national team, with swabs and tests. We are always in contact with each other and it takes very little.”

Belotti revealed his family, who live in Bergamo, were very careful during the lockdown period in Italy.

“The lockdown was quite difficult, we all experienced moments of fear. I was at home with my wife without being able to see my parents.

“They live in Bergamo, the city that was hit the hardest, and when we saw each other again after a long time, we stayed all day with the mask, and we didn’t even hug each other.

“My father was afraid of infecting me, despite not having the virus.”
