Andrea Belotti is expected to have his Roma medical tomorrow, as Felix Afena-Gyan has his tests for the permanent transfer to Cremonese this weekend.

Belotti has been a free agent since his contract with Torino expired on June 30 and turned down various other more lucrative proposals, including from Wolverhampton Wanderers, Monza and Galatasaray, because he was waiting for Roma.

Before they were able to sign Il Gallo, the Giallorossi first needed to sell one of their current crop of strikers, a process that took far longer than expected because negotiations with both Bologna and Torino for Eldor Shomurodov broke down.

Instead, Afena-Gyan agreed a move to newly-promoted Cremonese in a deal reportedly worth €6m plus another €2m in bonuses.

The 19-year-old arrived at the airport in Milan last night before driving to nearby Cremona and will have his medical this weekend.

Belotti is expected to have his Roma medical on Sunday, signing a three-year contract worth €2.5m per season plus bonuses.
