This week’s Euro 2024 qualifiers include some vital fixtures and these Belgium vs. Sweden predictions give the latest picture in Group F. The Red Devils are closing in on securing a place in Germany next summer, with Sweden still holding an outside chance.

Belgium vs. Sweden odds

1 – Belgium to win – 5/8

2 – Belgium under 2.5 total goals – 3/10

3 – Total goals scored under 2.5 – 17/20

4 – Both teams not to score – 9/10

5 – Belgium to win 2-0 – 13/2

The race to secure a place at Euro 2024 continues in the October international break, with the penultimate set of qualifiers.

Ahead of the October window, Belgium are in a very strong position to clinch their place at the tournament, with Domenico Tedesco’s team impressing in qualification. Coming into their home game against Sweden in Brussels, Belgium are unbeaten.

They will be confident of securing a qualification-clinching win over Sweden after beating Janne Andersson’s side 3-0 in Solna back in March, thanks to a Romelu Lukaku hat-trick.

Belgium have scored six goals in their two home qualifiers, one against Austria and five against Estonia. So the chances of scoring over 2.5 in this game appear to be evenly split, with Sweden offering a sterner test than Estonia.

The final score will not be a major issue for Tedesco as long as the result seals a place at Euro 2024. Lukaku is in red-hot form, with eight goals in his first five qualifiers, and he could be key here.

The opportunity to rubber stamp a place at Euro 2024 in October will allow Tedesco the chance to bring through some fringe players for the November games and potentially rest his Champions League stars.

In contrast, Sweden’s chances of making it through to the finals look to be almost over, with the possibility of a playoff spot dwindling. Andersson would need several teams in the League B path to qualify automatically to stand a chance of sneaking into the March playoffs.
