Belgium are sweating over injuries on key players Kevin de Bruyne and Eden Hazard, who were both replaced in the 1-0 win over Portugal on Sunday.
Thorgan Hazard scored the only goal in the match to set up a clash between Belgium and Italy in the quarter-finals at the Euros.
But the win came at a cost for the Red Devils, who had to replace both Kevin de Bruyne and Eden Hazard during the 90 minutes in Seville.
CT Roberto Martinez confirmed the duo will be assessed today, as Belgium returned to Tubize training camp at 5.20am this morning.
De Bruyne suffered a sprained ankle after a challenge from Palhinha, while Hazard asked to be substituted towards the end of the game due to a muscle problem in his right thigh.
Real Madrid winger Hazard will undergo tests today, but Manchester City playmaker De Bruyne must wait until tomorrow because of a swollen ankle.
La Gazzetta dello Sport reports the Belgium camp are not optimistic and fear Hazard has suffered a serious hamstring injury and goalkeeper Thibaut Courtois confirmed ‘it doesn’t look good’ when he spoke to the reporters after the match.
