Three Serie A players, Charles De Ketelaere, Koni De Winter and Cyril Ngonge, have been called up by Belgium for Nations League games against Italy and France this month.

Belgium visit Italy at the Stadio Olimpico in Rome on October 10 in the third Nations League game of the 2024-25 campaign.

The Azzurri won against France and Israel last month, while Belgium beat Israel 3-1 but lost 2-0 to France.

Belgium’s Italian coach, Domenico Tedesco, has included three Serie A players in the team for upcoming international matches.

They are Atalanta‘s De Ketelaere, Napoli‘s Ngonge and Genoa‘s De Winter.

Napoli star Romelu Lukaku hasn’t been included in the team, but according to Gazzetta, it was decided by the striker.

In fact, Lukaku has reportedly informed the Belgian FA that he won’t be featured in any international game until the new year as he wants to focus only on Napoli.

Lukaku has scored two goals in five appearances with Napoli after joining the club on a permanent transfer from Chelsea last summer.
