Reports from Belgium suggest that Inter have verbally agreed a deal with Club Brugge for Canadian winger Tajon Buchanan.

The Nerazzurri have had their sights set on the 24-year-old winger for a number of months now, believing he’d make a good fit for Simone Inzaghi’s squad in the Lombardy capital, adding pace and dribbling skills to the team.

Inter director Piero Ausilio met with intermediary Gabriele Giuffrida at the Bulgari Hotel in Milan back in March to iron out a deal for Buchanan, a meeting that seemingly went well.

As reported by Het Laatste Nieuws, Inter have agreed to pay Club Brugge around €15m for Buchanan, who has already reached personal terms with the club, in the summer transfer window.

The deal does rely on the Nerazzurri’s qualification to the Champions League, making a top four finish vital for Inzaghi’s side.

This season, Buchanan has scored one goal and provided six assists in 30 appearances for Club Brugge.
