Parma chief Tommaso Ghirardi is happy with the transfer interest in young striker Ishak Belfodil.
“The fact that he is wanted is good because it means that our scouting system is working well,” Ghirardi noted of the 21-year-old.
“We received an important offer from an Italian club for him in January, but we rejected it,” he continued.
“Was it from Juventus? No, it wasn’t Juve, but I won’t tell you who it was. The offer was only valid for January and is no longer on the table.
“Now we’ll have to see what happens. We want to build a stronger team by selling just one of our jewels and Belfodil is someone we need to make a decision on.”
The forward, signed in 2012 after spells at Lyon and Bologna, has scored eight goals in 33 League games for the Stadio Tardini outfit.
