Reports over the weekend indicated that the English Championship side had reached an agreement on a six-month loan deal for the 22-year-old, who had otherwise been linked with West Ham.
The forward, who has been frozen out of the first-team picture under Walter Mazzarri of late, is today reported as having arrived in London to complete formalities on the move, including medical tests.
Belfodil had gone into this January transfer window with a request to leave the Nerazzurri so as to gain more playing time ahead of Algeria’s participation in the World Cup.
Inter are believed to be loaning out the player in a deal that has QPR take up his salary but have no purchase option available for the summer.
