Months of tension created problems within the club and squad, as he was stripped of the captaincy, then refused to resume playing after treatment for an injury that the medical staff considered to be not very serious.

The fans turned on him and wife Wanda Nara, who also acts as his agent, but he seems to be turning down moves to anywhere except for Juventus.

It’s possible the idea of playing in Miami could tempt Icardi and Wanda into a move to MLS.
