Bayern Munich will reportedly send on loan winger Ivan Perisic back to Inter at the end of the season, according to a report in Germany.

The Croatian joined the Bavarian side from the Nerazzurri in the final weeks of the transfer window as it became clear that there was little space for him in Antonio Conte’s 3-5-2 system.

Perisic has played regularly for Bayern, making 12 appearances in the Bundesliga and a further six in Europe.

However, German source Bild states that Bayern intend to send the 30-year-old back to Inter at the end of the season.

Bayern paid Inter €5m for a season’s loan, with an option to buy the winger for €20m next summer.

Perisic was a specific request of then Bayern coach Niko Kovac, who has since been replaced by Hans Flick.
