Bayern Munich are allegedly not willing to pay the required €20m to sign Inter loanee Ivan Perisic on a permanent deal this summer.

Journalist Nicolò Schira has claimed Die Roten have decided against activating the clause in their deal with the Nerazzurri and will negotiate the price tag for the Croatia international.

The report claims Bayern will only be able to keep the winger if the price is discounted by Inter, as the €20m the two clubs agreed on last summer has been deemed too expensive by the Bundesliga giants.

Perisic, capped 88 times by Croatia and part of the national side reaching the 2018 World Cup Final, has scored four times and contributed five assists in his 15 Bundesliga matches this term.

He has recovered from an injury during the quarantine period and will be at coach Hansi Flick’s disposal when Bayern return to action against Union Berlin on Sunday.
