Reports are growing in France and Germany suggesting Bayern Munich will target Theo Hernandez, but the left-back celebrates his 200th Milan match. ‘The best is yet to come.’
Alphonso Davies is already set to join Real Madrid at the end of the season and the search is on for his replacement.
According to Sports Zone and Bild, the main target for the left-back slot is Theo Hernandez.
He would be the second member of his family to represent Bayern Munich, as his brother Lucas already played for the Bundesliga giants from 2019 to 2023, when he moved to Paris Saint-Germain.
Theo Hernandez is under contract with Milan until June 2026 and has flourished since the transfer from Real Madrid, helping them to win the Scudetto and reach the Champions League semi-final.
He has four goals and nine assists in 33 competitive games so far this season and the 1-1 draw with Atalanta last night was his 200th appearance for the club.
“Happy and proud to reach 200 games with Milan. Let’s go for more!” he wrote on social media.
In the Italian version of the text, he also wrote “the best is yet to come.”
Even Sports Zone seems confident that while Bayern Munich are targeting him, Theo Hernandez sees no reason to leave Milan and is discussing a new contract.
