Bayern Munich have contacted Inter to assure them that the deal for Benjamin Pavard will be completed by today’s deadline, Gianluca Di Marzio reports.

The Milanese club have long since agreed a €32m total deal with the Bavarian giants for Pavard, who has gone on strike in Germany in an attempt to force through the move.

The French right back missed multiple training sessions last week and was not part of the squad for the 3-1 win over Augsburg on the weekend.

As reported by Di Marzio, Bayern have moved to unblock the Pavard situation and contacted Inter this afternoon to reassure them that a deal will be completed before the specified deadline.

The Nerazzurri are now feeling calm and are ready to book in the 27-year-old’s medicals, keen to add him to Simone Inzaghi’s squad as soon as possible.

Last season, Pavard scored seven goals and provided one assist in 43 total appearances.
