Reports from Germany suggest that Matthijs de Ligt has already agreed personal terms with Bayern Munich ahead of a possible transfer from Juventus.

The 22-year-old Dutch centre back, who is also heavily linked with a move to Premier League giants Chelsea, seems set to depart this summer following a fairly strong season in Serie A under Massimiliano Allegri. He has already turned down a contract renewal and with his current deal expiring in 2024, this summer seems like the perfect time to cash in.

As reported by Sky Sports Germany, there was a meeting yesterday between De Ligt’s entourage and Bayern, where a total agreement was reportedly reached between the two parties. The Bundesliga juggernauts still need to reach an agreement with Juventus, however.

Reports differ regarding the offer sent by the Bavarian side to Juventus, but suggestions vary from €70m cash to around €60m plus Benjamin Pavard, making the exact figures unclear at this stage.

  1. Great business yet again if this comes true. This club has a penchant for under selling and taking on younger players such as Di Maria. Inter are not budging on Skriniar’s price and that is down to have Don Beppe. The 7/9 CL runners up winners caved without any resolve but they will be fine. PhD Max can call on Montero to fill the double defensive void. After all he is back and better than ever at the ripe young age of 51. 4th spot tripleta is secure.

  2. @LordAllegri seriously why do you comment when you have nothing of value to say. You display your ignorance all to often on here!
