Michel Bastos has publicly told Juventus to make an offer to Lyon. “The time has come for a change of scenery. Even without Europe, it's still Juve.”

The Brazilian left-back had already been heavily linked with a move to Turin over the past year, but the time seems to have come for it to go through.

“I always tried to improve myself as a player and this is why I admit Juve's interest is an honour,” Bastos told Tuttosport.

“I always tried to improve myself as a player and this is why I admit Juve's interest is an honour,” Bastos told Tuttosport.

“What player wouldn't be honoured? I think the time has come for me and my family to have a change of scenery and feel new sensations.

“I also know that I have two more years on my contract with Lyon and will only leave if this represents a good thing for me and my current club.”

The Bianconeri have lost out on Champions League qualification and risk missing Europe altogether next season.

“No Champions League football? Even without Europe, it's still Juve and I repeat the time has come for me to have a change of scenery,” continued Bastos.

“I couldn't see myself with any other club here in France, so my dream is to move to Italy or Spain. The Premier League and Bundesliga don't really attract me too much. My wife and I want our little son Lucas to grow up in a more Latin country.”
