Spezia travel to the Giuseppe Meazza to face Inter today, the match kicks off at 14.00 GMT.

Both Spezia’s Simone and Inter’s Alessandro Bastoni are expected to start the game. They have the same surname but they are not related.

“He is a defender I really appreciate, he is young and I’d like to swap shirts with him at the end of the game,” the Spezia defender told La Gazzetta dello Sport.

Bastoni used to be a centre midfielder but Vincenzo Italian changed his role last season, using him as a full-back.

“It was an idea of the coach and the former director of sport Guido Angelozzi. Now Italiano wants me to join the attacking action and do a good defensive phase,” he added.

What did he do when Spezia were promoted to Serie A last season?

“I changed my car,” he replied.

The 24-year-old used to support Juventus when he was a child.

“When we played against Juventus I swapped shirts with Paulo Dybala, but the best one remains Cristiano Ronaldo, he is from another planet.”
