Inter defender Alessandro Bastoni reflects on the Nerazzurri’s campaign and insists he will do everything to ‘colour’ his future in Black and Blue.

The 23-year-old has emerged as a top target for Manchester United, City and Tottenham Hotspur, while Inter need to cash in on another star in the summer to balance the books.

La Gazzetta dello Sport reported this morning that the Red Devils are preparing an offer to sign the Italy international, but Inter won’t listen to offers below €60m.

There had been previous reports that City wanted to sign Bastoni, to add quality to Pep Guardiola’s back-line and so wanted to do Antonio Conte at Tottenham.

Bastoni is a die-hard Inter fan and doesn’t seem willing to leave his favourite club so easily. That’s what he also suggested in his latest Instagram post, where he reflected on the Nerazzurri’s campaign.

Man United prepare Bastoni bid with City and Tottenham interested

“It was a long and eventful season, with many tough evenings, full of unexpected events. But there were just as many satisfying nights: the Supercoppa, the Coppa Italia and when we conquered Anfield, even if it was not enough to qualify.

“A united team that has faced every game and every training with the seriousness and determination that led us to end this season not as we would have liked but in a positive way, showing character and desire to fight.

“Thanks to the teammates and fans for helping to make these months even more special and unforgettable.

“You can’t change the past, but what you can do is always give your best to make the future more and more coloured in Black and Blue. Amala.”

Bastoni extended his contract with Inter one year ago and his current deal runs out in June 2024.

  1. Keep him and Skriniar, sell De Vrij and buy Bremer.

  2. Well, as thing stand, we’ll lose at least one star. I’d prefer Bastoni to go, not Lautaro, not Skriniar.

  3. At 23, this guy still has plenty of room for improvement. And he’s an Inter fan, which means he’s not there simply for a paycheck and will everything on the pitch for the club at all times. This is something Inter need more of not less. Instead of Suning selling players, just sell the club.

  4. If De Vrij, pinamonti, dalbert, lazzaro and one more kid for few million euros are sold, we should generate 60M and relief the books from salaries of ranochia, vecino, vidal, sanchez, ceicedo, kolarov, we should have money for salary for dybala+mikhtarijan and buy bremer and asllani.

Playing Dzeko as a last striker, rotating Dybala, Lautaro and Correa makes total sense. They play together in National team.

    Onana
    Shrkrini. Bremer. Bastoni
    Dumfries Barella Brozo Chaka Perisic/Gsns
    Dybala
    Lautaro

    Thats a good team!

  5. If Bremer is indeed interested to switch allegiance to Italy, I sincerely hope that Inter do a “Juventus“, and get Italian backbone by pairing Bastoni and Bremer, and probably try for Gigio too in the future. That combo should be good for some time and it will be helpful for Italian NT too.

Imagine the drama during derby! lol

  6. Grande grandisdimo Bastoni. A real and true Interista from the heart. A clear and direct message to Zhang.

  7. Sell Lautaro, Barella and Bastoni. Inter doesn’t need replacements for them and switch from 3-5-2 to 4-3-3
Onana; Dumfries, SDV, Skriniar, Gosens; Hakan, Brozovic, Sensi; Perisic, Correa, Alexis

    Forza Milan…#wearethechampions
