Inter defender Alessandro Bastoni was ‘happy to be back’ in action against Borussia Mönchengladbach on Wednesday.
The Nerazzurri centre-back tested positive for coronavirus on international duty with Italy U21, but recovered last week and was back in the squad in the 2-2 draw with Gladbach in the first Champions League match of the season.
“I’m happy to be back on the pitch, but it’s a shame about the result,” Bastoni wrote on Instagram. “We still need to work and improve a lot.
