Inter defender Alessandro Bastoni claims coach Antonio Conte is one of few who ‘would have the courage’ to give a youngster the chance in defence.
The 21-year-old basically thanked the Nerazzurri coach for showing faith in him and giving him a chance to establish himself in the starting line-up at San Siro.
“Conte has certainly given me a lot, I don’t know many who would have the courage to give a 20-year-old his debut at Inter like that,” Bastoni told Sky Sport Italia.

“Ours is a process of developing that we are doing all together and we must continue down the same road collectively.”
Bastoni has scored twice in 20 Serie A matches with Inter, as the team have kept three clean sheets with the youngster on the pitch so far.
