With Stefano Pioli having come in as Edy Reja’s replacement since Basta’s transfer was reportedly agreed, the player has been asked about any changes in formation that could come about.
“I like to play on the wing,” Basta has told the Corriere dello Sport this week.
“With Udinese in the last three years we have used the 3-5-2, whilst with the national team I have been used in a back four on the right.
“For me, it is not a problem, I can play in both roles.”
